The book contains many dramatic, humorous and harrowing accounts of incidents during the short, hectic wartime career of the Kelly.
It includes accounts (unadulterated) by many of the ships survivors who all had tremendous respect, admiration, affection respect for him.
I prefer to take his former shipmates view of him rather than TV programme makers, not born at the time producing something controversial to promote own their careers.
AS a sea cadet in the 50's Mountbatten came to see us (in Hebburn)and it was very obvious (to me even as a young teenager) that all of his former shipmates worshipped him
