Re: Where are they now?
That could possibly explain it Norman. There were two Gribbon lads of a similar age to me who I used to meet up with sometimes when visiting my grandmother in Tweed Street. They did have an older brother who went off to be a priest at a seminary in Grange Over Sands. Each year the parish organised a coach trip to their annual garden party. The last time I went on this trip the elder Gribbon was with us - accompanied by his girlfriend, so I guess he didn't become a priest after all.
