This morning i witnessed the good and the worst of this festive season.The worst was two people absolutely legless with drink one of whom had fallen down and smashed his bottle of plonk resulting in him gashing his hand badly.Someone phoned for an ambulance and the good arrived.They proceeded to treat the mans injuries but the mans friend started to become abusive to the two paramedics,one a female by the way.His language to them was worse than what i ever heard in the shipyard.More good arrived in the form of the police who promptly arrested the man ,put him in the back of the meat wagon and whipped him off to the cells.In this time of medical emergency the ambulance and police have far better things to do.The two baddies were men i would say in there 50s.Both alcoholics.
