Thanks for confirming that Norman. My immediate recollection was that it was William St which was first on the left after coming down Albert Rd bank and under the rail bridge.
But I dont think that I was ever in the shop. We lived so near the Co-op in Beech St that nearly all our shopping was done there and of course for occasional stuff there were half a dozen corner shops within spitting distance.
