Yes that’s right Alan, I lived in South Parade from late 1950 until I moved to London in 1970, my parents lived in South Parade for 69 years, it was a sad occasion, following the death of my mother earlier this year, when I locked the door of number 38 South Parade for the last time in August of this year.

It is nice, from time to time, to see old photos of the surrounding area on The Board.
