I doubt it Liz. I would never have time to shop in Bill Quay or Hebburn much after 1968. Always flying visits to visit parents and other relations. Sometimes I would drop off the family and then head up to Seahouses to go diving on the Farnes picking them up in the way back.

It was worse after 1975 as I had been promoted up into another department, had to learn a new job etc.
