I bought a new Rotary Watch about a year ago. About 10 days ago the watch stopped at 11-55. I presumed the battery had died but still continued wearing it every day so I have it when I can get to a Jewellers but with this lockdown its difficult.
This morning I noticed it had started again and it had been running quite a few hours.
So I set the time and it worked the rest of the day but then stopped at 16-27.(see photo)
So it must need a battery.
How strange it started to work on Jan 1st, which is my late sister Marian’s birthday & the day my dad died in 1995. My first thoughts were Marian when I saw the watch working.

27 is as I was born on the 27th June.
