It must be very hard for you after a lifetime together.

I know that when my parents died in 1984 within a month of each other I was devastated. I hadn’t known that there was anything wrong with them. They kept illness very close.

It took over 2 1/2 years to get over it. It was only my family and work plus my diving that took my mind off it.

After Mum died I had to set too and clear the house for sale, a big job as replacement windows, doors and complete redecoration where required. Thinking back I maybe did all that as a reaction.

Just try to be busy if you can.
