Re: Bill Quay follow on
coxon street was in a bad state when i lived there, 1965,there was talk of rats, the downstairs flat that i had, had silver snail trails over the carpet every morning,dampness everywhere,and the ceiling fell down in the scullery,but it was worth paying thirty bob a week just to get hoyed out by the council,who then gave us a house on the leam lane estate we had only been in bill quay for six months,.
