Got to bed about 10.30 and during the night I thought I heard a storm (No hearing aids in of course).

Say around 2 am I had to throw off some bed clothes just too hot. Ann says she was lathered.

Around 5.30 am I was cold as was Ann.

Thought nowt about it until I went out to bring in the recycling bins and take off my car windscreen cover this morning.

There must have been very strong winds to partially remove it.

I remember on the forecast last night seeing the east being cold and the west being warm.

I wonder if we got a blast of warm air for a few hours then back to cold air. The start of the Pennines is not far away from us.
