To a certain extent this has got worse since the over 75 license fees withdrawal.
To me, I use the BBC as first port of call on the news. Its far better than ITV for instance. Then there's Sky, Fox, CNN, Reuters UK, Apple News ETC. take your pick.
Whatever the BBC says on the political forefront I take with a pinch of SALT. There could always be a "bit" of Bias thrown in.
I think I have been around long enough to know if the wool is being pulled over my eyes (Or tried to) and can spot a "tosser" usually straight off or in a short time.
Lessons learned at the boardroom table, contract meetings etc. Etc.
However there a two shows. Question Time and Newsnight which can be very bad.
QT since Dimblby left, its down the pan.
Newsnight, I almost detest the presenter Mattis.
Having said about BBC - ITV GMB - Piers Morgan and sidekick. most of the time he is totally abhorrent to the studio guests. Q after Q without allowing them to answer and if they start to answer jumps in. Trying to be clever but making an Ass of himself. Hit the off button time.
Other times I think that he is great.
To just not watch to BBC News due to your own Bias is like shooting yourself in the foot.
