I think I have an incredible and fantastic life doing what I do because I meet so many people from all walks of life! I once met an old lady in st. Mary's Cathedral Newcastle. She prayed for her late husband and then lit a candle. As she passed me I smiled and said hello. I listened to her story which was very interesting and our chat gave her comfort. This is one side of ecclesiology I enjoy. Another time I was talking to a visitor in st. Nicholas Cathedral in Newcastle about the organ as she wondered about its history. Within a few minutes we were joined by another 4 people! So the Saga went on from 1747 and Renatus Harris the organ builder, to the history of Charles Avison's life story, the organist and compose.
