Carol, like many others during this lockdown, I have little idea, not only of what time it is but also of what day it is. Today is just another day and it came after yesterday and it usually comes before tomorrow. However, tomorrow will just be today when it eventually arrives (if you get my drift). Other days are just some Otherday. The delivery of the milk helps when it comes as I know with reasonable certainty that today will be a Monday or Wednesday or Friday. If there is no milk on the doorstep, today will be Saturday or Sunday, Tuesday or Thursday. Now I am sure you will agree it is much easier to just have everyday as Today with a clear understanding that there are Otherdays like yesterday and tomorrow but they may not really exist as Yesterday has gone down the plughole and isn't anymore and tomorrow, as I have already explained is just today in waiting. I mean if you check you will find a yesterday today and tomorrow has occurred every day, honest, 'tis true.
