These Smart motorways are killers.

I have been on the M1 and M25 Smart sections. Nightmare M25. M1 nearly as bad.

The idea might have been good but it did not account for the drivers using them. That’s all of us.

When I have been on them it’s usually towing my Caravan so we are at greater risk as in the slower lanes. Your attention level has to be top level. It’s a relief getting to the end of one.

I avoid the M1 if I can but the M18 leads you straight onto one.

The M25 I have to use to get to the Chunnel.
