I assume that it could be due to the NHS plus maybe it is easier to get to a Hospital as less travel time as we are more densely populated. With Hospital closures that may not now be the case. 20 years ago there were more local hospitals than now. It appears that our population is not as healthy as it could/ should be. So the % could well drop in the future. Allan C.
