One distant relation of family could have Gassed himself in 1940 ish I think, but put down as coal gas poisoning.

Now did he put his head in a gas oven or turn on a gas fire or maybe came in drunk ( he was known for that) and left the gas fire on.

No one else involved and no explosion.

Must read the DC again and see if I can find an inquest.
