Geordie is attending a college psychology course on emotional extremes.
“Just to establish some parameters,” said the professor to a student, “What is the opposite of joy?”
“Sadness.” Replied the student.
“And the opposite of depression?” he asked another student.
“Elation,” the student said.
He asked Geordie, “What’s the opposite of woe?”
Geordie replied, “Sir, ah believe that wud be giddy-up!"
