Hello Ann, good to see you on the board.
There is a Ninth Avenue in Heaton and a School that has been there for a long time called Chillingham Rd School. (Its backs onto Ninth Ave). There is also a Chillingham Rd History Group that you could google as they will probably answer your question.Good luck
