My Father Harry Lynch was born in 1908 at Staithes House , Pelaw Main in 1908.
At some point later the family moved to Raith Villas (Just up the bank from Pelaw Main) and
eventually to 12 Croxdale Gardens. (during the 1970’s my uncles Joe and Isaac were rehoused into Taylor Gardens.)Joseph was born in 1906. Harry (my Dad) in 1908. Another boy, Robert (Bobby) was born in 1910, later another son Isaac was born in 1920 followed by a girl, Betty, in 1921.
I am trying to find out what happened to Bobby. I know he died in a shunting accident but that is all I know. I have hunted the internet and stuff but cannot find out any other information.
Can anybody help? I attach some pictures that some Pelaw people might find of interest.
I do not have a picture of Isaac. Hope someone may be able to help, I did notice one of his photos is from Normans website , not sure of the other photos, hope this is ok, may help pass our time in this lockdown, thanks again.
