I am 68 years old now and rue the time I spent with my Dad and my uncles in NOT squeezing information about their past from them. They were great guys but they usually only wanted to talk about football and boxing. (By the way..they always said we were related to Benny Lynch, the famous Glasgow fighter..but I am not sure about that).
I was always aware of Bobby and they were never reluctant to tell me that he had died, in a shunting accident, on the wagonway, and I vaguely remember telling me about the time someone came running to tell him about the accident but , either I have forgotten, but nothing else.
