Midland in Hebburn..No say HSBC

I have just had this from the Archivist at HSBC/Midland
Good Morning Mac,

Thank you for your email.

I have had a search of our branch database and cannot find any records relating to a Midland Bank branch in Hebburn-on-Tyne. I did however find the listing of a branch across the river in Wallsend-on-Tyne, which was first opened in 1898 by the York City & County Bank. It became part of Midland Bank in 1909.
