I had to push myself to go out, on the previous Thurs. & Fri. I had felt washed out due to a 4.7 MB bike ride on the Tues. and logging Sun & Mon.
I knew that I had done the first 1.5 mile rather well. The time to the 3 mile point good and still good up to the 5 mile point. At 6 still good and the harder hill parts out of the way.
The remaining 5.4 done at a good pace.
When I got home and check my bike computer I was very surprised to see that I had done the best time ever for the route 1hour 1.57 mins. No idea as to the hows and whys of it.
As warmer weather, lighter clothing and a lower wind strength.
So next target for that ride is to get below 1 hour which is going to be difficult. Maybe end of March I hope.
I have tried to loose weight. Got from 13 st 11 lbs to 13 st. 6 lbs. but due to all the snow it’s crept up by 3 lbs.
I am now fitter but a long way From where I would like to be.
That’s going to take months and the years are adding up.
