Yesterday I received a message via messenger from what I thought was an old friend of whom I had not spoken to for a long time. This mate of over 30 years started conversation rather strange, talking about stocks and shares and mainly money and finance. I asked him has he lost the plot,asking him about old mates and thing that he should of known , he continued with his conversation as if i was not there. I let him ramble and whilst he rambled i called another friend to call my mate the same one on messenger, and ask him if he indeed was speaking to me on messenger, That answer was NO, he was not speaking to anyone including me as he did not use it., or how to use messenger. On that note, I then blocked and unfriended that scammer, this guy proposing to my mate is asking you for money and getting deeply in to a dark web, he purports to be your friends with names, beware. His name Harley Jordan and outfit if anyone has and knowledge please get back to me or via Norman here. Do not click any links if you are contacted, beware of this " Harley Jordon, as said I have deleted all his text and replaced passwords and reset my phone and desktop and warned my antivirus, please look at the copies of the post text I received obviously cropped for privacy, hope this helps some from this very tricky scammer.The clue was "FEDERAL" hope this helps.If you can help me find the perps please do.
