Mac I know Saddlebrook. My husband was playing a good number of years ago in a charity type of tournament sponsored by British Airways if I remember correctly and he won a fabulous prize for sinking a 50' putt .. it was 5 days stay at Saddlebrook to include golf tuition for 2. It was great, and worth a chunk of money.
We stayed in a t/share in Palm Desert a couple of years ago, golf was expensive there - we weren't there to play, but the courses are lovely.
