Re: Streets in the colliery
In the 1910 Rates records, William Stubbs was at 10 Ash St and as you probably knew, they were Pit Houses.
I wonder if you are related to the well known 'Charlie Stubbs' who ran a Sculler boat service from the bottom of Prince Consort Rd area and over to Walker.
