I can remember going there with family as a kid in the early 70s. Jackie, you're right about the hallway in from the beer garden with the bar.

I can remember there being chickens behind a wire mesh fence and when you threw them a crisp they would go berzerk trying to get a piece. Good times!

The leek and flower shows I can remember going to up until the late 80s or early 90s. Don't know if they are still going, have lived away for a long time now.
