That brings back memories as I lived in the houses in the middle of photo in the 50s. I remember Mr Nightingale and Sammy well. One particular memory is of visiting Mr Nightingales home in the late 60s as he had just bought a colour TV which of course was a rarity in the early days. The colour was not as good as it is today but it was very impressive nevertheless.
