I went and watched the Hearns fight by satellite at Newcastle city hall, when we got there no one had thought about opening the bar and the link didn't start till 1am we got there about 10.30, if I remember it was a Monday evening (strange night for a fight). The only place open was Tiffany's for their rock night so we headed down there including some rather heavy looking gents in mohair coats,it was so loud that the pints were shaking on the tables. We were then treat to the most intense 3 rounds of any world title fight. An absolute boxing legend RIP Marvin Hagler.
