I couldn't agree with you more Mac. Lower Dean Street , the continuation of Grey St is built on the town dung heap and some of the foundations are between 25 and 40 feet deep. Richard Grainger would turn in his grave if he could see Grey St now. The Magnificent Theatre Royal is a fine example of brilliant English architecture but as Mac says Grey St is blighted by the pubs. Thank god they can't get their mitts on the Grainger Market because that too is listed.
