l knew both brothers very well we used to hang around together in the 50s from the army cadets and the TA.EDDIE the oldest brother would be about 83 Alfie was a couple of years younger.Eddie was a gardener with the council then I believe in the 1960s he went to France to tend the war graves.I knew there sister Jean and her husband Harry,he also was in the TA late 50s,he used to play the guitar quite well taking off the shadows group. They did live in Victoria road we as young teenagers would play cards every Sunday afternoon,mrs Jardine would playing as well. l must mention Norman Dunn put a few of my days in the army cadets and the TA photos taken in the 1950s showing both brothers also there brother in law Harry.happy days.
