Re: Light bulbs for tablelights
John we move to Abingdon in 1978. But before that we used to visit my husbands sister in Wallingford. They moved into their new build in 1967. Two of their neighbours were working on the building of the Didcot Power Station. . Sadly we saw it gradually being destroyed. I use the word destroyed ,as it was still supplying electricity and employed lots of people. Was it the EU that decided all coal power stations should be closed. Iím not sure as I have read that Germany continue to build coal power stations as they have closed their nuclear ones. It is nice you remember Didcot, it has a new great shopping area. We visited it regularly before lock down.
