So tried to take it easy since then ( some hope) so delayed a bike ride until this morning. Scrubbed the one I was going to do and stayed local.
Started off on my normal route which is an almost 2 mile climb and at 3 miles turned N instead of S. I intended to stay on the level but decided to go down a lane that I may not have been on before. Very interesting farms and properties. Headed back towards home just going east. A gradual climb brought me back up onto the ridge above our valley onto Menwith Hill Rd. Close to the base.
Then just a steady ish ride home.
12.27 miles and 906 feet of altitude.
Regretfully there was a westerly wind of 10-15 mph which makes hard going in places.
Biggest problem is the 7 lbs in weight that I had managed to lose since Xmas is nearly back but not all as fat.
Not yet managed to get back to my former ability to recover AGE?
