Re: Proposed Housing Development
Geoff, I've worked a lot in civil engineering management and have seen this all before. Good luck to A&P Tyne. It's industry we need here not more houses. I've only been out of Hebburn 19 years and it's more commuter town now. Some of the houses being built now will not stand and very long. You only have to look at school Street flats and part of the Newtown. A & P may only be a shipyard but it's men's jobs and an industry that Hebburn is proud of. I for one hope this housing never comes to reality.
