Re: Time for change
I for one have changed. Born and lived in Hebburn all my life 71 years old this coming July and voted Labour most of the time, but not now. I love my town but it is in my words a pit. Nothing gets spent on the town by South Tyneside Council as it all goes to South Shields. The roads in the Quay area are a disgrace, they get patched up now and again then couple months later they need doing again. Then there is housing which the town is just totally becoming one big housing estate. Yes there have been new schools built but replaced the old ones that were falling to bits. New doctors surgeries have been built only to replace the old ones. So come on South Tyneside Council give Hebburn more schools, doctor's surgeries, ammeanaties for the young children of the town and most of all a new shopping centre.
