I understand that it takes usually 8 staff to turn a patient plus those looking after the equipment.
The patients have to be turned is it every 2-4 hours ?
That would have taken an enormous amount of staff to do that.
So a normal Ward would have required say 4 nurses but with Covid it must have tripled of more so staff taken from none Covid wards, hence the cutback in normal hospital admissions.
All a question of logistics.
