Re: E-bay / Pay Pal
Your email is correct. Ebay have adopted a new buying experience :-( that's what they tell us. If you sell on Ebay you now must register your bank details with them , you will need to upload ID too. You can no longer have money paid into your Paypal account for items sold on Ebay but you can still use Paypal to purchase items. Once your items sell and the buyer pays Ebay , the money is kept until you send the item off . Ebay will take out the fee plus 36p an item and pay the remainder into your bank account. I dont like this and not many others do either. The deadline for me has passed and I can no longer sell on Ebay, but I dont trust Ebay. One other thing , if there is a problem and the buyer does not recieve the item Ebay have the right to dip into your bank account and refund the buyer. I dont like this either. All the info on this is on the Ebay Community pages, well worth a read. I have opened a new bank account specificaly for use with Ebay but I haven't given them my details yet as I dont really want too. But whatever you decide to do , I would not use your main current bank account , if ever it gets hacked then you run the risk of losing your money.
