Re: fence on Victoria Rd.
Our area is honeycombed with mine workings where coal has been removed and is now permanently full of water.Drill down anywhere and you hit water. At Wardley a mile from Hebburn Town centre the centrifugal pump ran all nightshift (7 hours) pumping 3000 gals per min out the pit which is 1,260,000 gals 7 nights per week. The deeper down the water is the warmer it gets. Going off my memory it is 1 degree centigrade warmer for every 100ft down.
Wardley's deepest was 1480ft down.
