ok shiela,i would guess that only two block,s of houses were there then in the thirties, as they were the only ones there in the fifties,each block i think had twenty houses which were terraced with upstairs rooms,don,t know when they were built,these houses are still there today,in the fifties they were known as gosforth terrace,as they were the only houses there,when the new houses were built next to them they are on both sides of the road, and as far as i know are also gosforth terrace, hope this helps sheila.
