According to a car owners club of which I am a member, an increase of Ethanol can (but not definitely) affect some of the rubber components (i.e. seals) in the fuel system. So you may, or not, have fuelling problems.
In addition, their may be a slightly higher water content, which over a long period, may affect steel components e.g. fuel tank & fuel lines, causing rust particles. This IS over a long period of time.
I am assured that we are NOT looking at engines suddenly seizing up!
