Some naively believed that when we left the EU, we could walk away and leave all these problems for our European neighbours to sort out, but Brexit has made some situations worse. (Dublin III Protocol)
We are still signatories to the European Convention on Human Rights, whether or not HRA is abolished, which means European Court of Human Rights has a say, as well as UN/SOLAS.
B Force are operating under current legislation, it’s for politicians to sort...they’ve made numerous attempts to resolve this, but again, they need to work within existing international rules and protocols, or walk away from them, with all the unintended consequences that could be triggered.
If it was as easy as some on here pretend; it would have been sorted by now. There are competing and conflicting rights and duties, and these are being exploited. Of course there are other factors, and potentially years of legal wrangling...brains better than mine or yours are struggling to get this sorted.
