One comes to my thoughts, Stanley Meyer innovated the “ water fuel cell, the water fuelled car “ The water fuel cell purportedly split water into its component elements, hydrogen, and oxygen. The hydrogen gas was then burned to generate energy, a process that reconstituted the water molecules. According to Meyer, the device required less energy to perform electrolysis than the minimum energy requirement predicted or measured by conventional science. The mechanism of action was alleged to involve "Brown's gas," a mixture of oxyhydrogen with a ratio of 2:1, the same composition as liquid water; which would then be mixed with ambient air (nitrogen, oxygen, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, methane, chlorofluorocarbons, free radicals/electrons, radiation, among others). The resultant hydrogen gas was then burned to generate energy, which reconstituted the water molecules in another unit separate from the unit in which water was separated. If the device worked as specified, it would violate both the first and second laws of thermodynamics, allowing operation as a perpetual motion machine. This caused concern when Stanley Meyer dies in a very mysterious way. There is a book called “The mysterious death of Stanley Meyer and his water powered car” There are so many, here is another: Who Killed the Electric Car? New Documentary Looks at the Mysterious Disappearance of the EV-1
General Motors has been at the center of one of the nation’s largest controversies over clean-emissions cars. In 1996 the company introduced the EV-1 electric car in California and Arizona. Hundreds of electric cars were soon on the road. Then they all disappeared. The mystery behind their disappearance is the subject of the documentary “Who Killed the Electric Car?” We’re joined by the film’s director, Chris Paine, and Chelsea Sexton, a former GM employee who worked on the EV-1 electric car.
So many scientists seem to vanish these days, my time as a would-be innovator some 30 years ago, I came up with the idea of using a smartcard as an Anti-theft device locking the vehicle gearbox, this was the time that so-called “Joy-Riding” not much joy for the vehicle owners of which I had bee none of those with my car stolen and written off. With sponsorship won, with help from Newcastle University lasting over six years, yes six years, meeting motor manufactures, learning just about everything except making a difference to mankind for the good mostly with the very same answer they like cars being stolen as it generated more sales in cars and parts, the costs of patents and research was finally overwhelming and returned to my occupation in road haulage, drained of all faith in the common man becoming any innovators unless you have money be prepared to look the other way. The electric car on paper suits the people but the manufacturing of these batteries will be hidden, same as they did with Tabaco and Asbestos.
