A Fishy Tale

I thought some of you might like to see what an old, clapped out, Hebburn ex-pat gets up to these days. Well, I have been down sizing, for the want of a better word and a treasured item has been sold on...my 1963 MX5 Sport/Graphite with only 22,000 miles on the clock and in mint condition. It has been replaced by an all singing, all dancing, 300litre aquarium and flatpack cabinet that I have been setting up for the past week or so. I bought the package from the man who bought the car but had a lot of trouble. Believe it or not the first tank that came had a flaw in the glass and so did the second! This the third tank which I have planted in the past few days. It will have a Co2 pressurised system to ensure luxurious plant growth and I will introduce fish as soon as all the water conditions are stabilised. They will be Killifish, an African species, that I used to breed when we lived in Westernmoor, Blackfell Village, way back in the early 1970s. Look very carefully at the photo below and you will see the image of Neptune lurking in the background...or maybe its just old father time. No guessing what the other photo is about.
