That was some video,lt makes me feel giddy watching it,at the same time it reminded me at the time while I was in Australia in the 1960s bricklaying in the Sydney harbour at circular Quay working on the AMP building.which was 117 mts tall some 22 floors, when completed.it was the tallest build in Australia at the time,2 men died during the build,in 60 years things have changed and subsequently it is dwarfed by other skyscrapers.I remember over looking the harbour which can not be missed was the Sydney harbour bridge which was built by our own Dorman Lang co ltd Middlesbrough in 1932.at that perticular time there was no pedestrian access.just opposite the bridge was the pile driving of what was to become the Sydney Opera House.
l try and go back to Sydney to watch the Ashes and the last test in the Sydney match on 2017/18
I noticed that they allowed parties to walk over the bridge so l went for it believe me it was hard we were in a harness and the view at the top was unbelievable to the east the coast l could see the eastern suburbs to the west I could see the Blue Mountains, and the AMP building was just dwarfed by the bridge and the present skyline,to think that was built some 90 years ago 1932.
That climb was the highest l have been physically, the lady in the video that building is 2,200 feet tall.
Colin if you are ever in Sydney I do recommend the climb.
Has any board member claimed any dissed heights?
