The roads, not the greatest but there is a constant rolling road repairs ongoing, we have the biggest trucks I have seen trundling though Herefordshire this is why the roads do need constant attention, they collect the produce from the farms.
Allan, as far as the hospitality sector is concerned, it seems to me that some of the venues are here today gone tomorrow places, whenever we visit Newcastle there is always a constant change in restaurants. Most of the pubs that serve food, to my mind, always seem to have the same boring menus, burgers, fish and chips, pizza, pie of the day that kind of thing, no imagination so why should the general public pay to keep these establishments going when their clientele have decided not to visit? I realise that the ‘village’ pub can be an asset and locals will keep those establishments going but some of the other hospitality outlets are not worth bothering with.
The argument for paying or not paying tax, this could run forever, I don’t always agree with having to pay tax on certain things, I do try to mitigate what I have to pay wherever possible, I do however stay within the Law.
