The old shipyard workers and their bosses I suppose signed their own death warrant by not allowing modernisation.
The existing yards were too constricted by the river valley’s to be able to expand when compared to the big Korean yards.
One can live in hope but it would take an earthquake shift in the UK for it to happen.
I suppose that each and everyone of us must take responsibility for the loss of all the work and jobs that have gone abroad. We wanted everything to be cheaper.
