Wow that was expensive Sheila, we are with E.on have been for years, I could do a fixed tariff but I can only do that if I hand over my bank details which I refuse to do so we are on Standard tariff. E.on ask for a meter reading monthly, I just submitted the reading yesterday and received my bill today for the month of December the bill was £112, which is up £8 on November but I know exactly why that is we have had Christmas lights on from 8 in the morning until 11 at night, also during the month of December we had our outside lights switched on from 5 until 11. Our charge per unit is 20.66 it has been at that rate for quite a few months now, canít remember what the daily standing charge is.
We donít have gas we have oil fired central heating we fill our 2500 litre tank twice a year, we never let it run right down as donít want to run the risk of sediment getting into the system, I last filled the oil tank up early December the cost was more than when it was filled up in April but hopefully the price of oil will drop for the April fill.
