Gateshead Council could have a whole Housing Estate built on the old Wardley Colliery land and heated by mine water. They are already doing that in Seaham.
Their 'Garden Village' will have 750 affordable homes ,750 Private homes, Shops/Supermarket, School, Medical and Innovation Centres all heated thanks to the flooded underground workings.
