We have problems anyway as we have no mobile phone reception where we live. I sometime have to drive a mile to higher ground to make a call or receive texts for the verification process.
It appears that the clearing system called World Pay is still having problems after Brexit.
We got it all sorted by doing bank transfers but could not load our CaxtonFX bank card at all so taking more Cash than we would normally do.
So if you are going abroad sort all your money matters well in advance, at least a week before.
Further complicated by our Credit card end date being May 2022. So would not have it for our return journey.
Fortunately the Credit Card company were able to send us a new set which arrived today following a few phone calls with them who sent them out to us a few weeks earlier than they normally would do.
This is the first time in 18years that we have had problems so be aware.
