Tom all I can remember was Basher Burton’s Chess club.

One day I beat him must have had his mind elsewhere that day.

No cycle club for me as I remember if there was one.

I had already been working on bikes even at the Newtown.

Had to keep mine running as rode it to Gran Campbell’s.

I think that I rode the bike to work in Palmers DO until About March 1960 as then had my first car. Different sort of mechanics, heavy stuff.
