A lot of civil service sites are relocating, I don't know if you can remember the civil service site at Longbenton just outside Newcastle. That is currently the base for over 7000 civil servants, but will be moving to a site in central Newcastle where the Odeon and other building used to be. The Longbenton site is already earmarked for housing so someone will be making a pretty penny. A lot of companies are downsizing their buildings following the pandemic plus rising costs and the staff are hotdesking, that happens at the Longbenton site now, so you may be at the office a day or two a week and work from home the rest of the time. I have worked that method before and if you are disciplined its a great way of working, and now with software its easier to monitor the output of the staff so really their shouild be no problem.
